Our Program Includes

Our 90 minute six-week Cotillion program is designed to provide young adults in 6th - 8th grade with the social skills and etiquette needed to thrive in a variety of social and professional settings. Here is an overview of what the program typically covers:

Our program

Throughout the program, students learn more than just manners and social skills: they develop self-confidence, leadership skills, and respect for others while interacting with different people in different settings.

Our six-week Cotillion program is a fun, interactive and character building experience that will serve young adults well for the rest of their lives.

Our Program

Introduction to Social Etiquette

 Week 1: Introduction to Social Etiquette

In the first week, students are introduced to the basic principles of social etiquette, including introductions, handshakes, and making a good first impression. They learn how to hold themselves with poise and confidence in social situations.

Communication and Conversation Skills

 Week 2: Communication and Conversation Skills

In the second week, students learn how to communicate effectively and engage in meaningful conversation. This includes learning how to listen attentively, ask open-ended questions, and maintain eye contact.

Dining Etiquette

 Week 3: Dining Etiquette

In the third week, students learn about table manners, including how to set a table, use silverware properly, and eat without embarrassing themselves. They learn about different types of formal and informal dinner parties and how to RSVP to an invitation.

Dress Codes and Fashion

 Week 4: Dress Codes and Fashion

In the fourth week, students learn about appropriate dress codes for various occasions, including formal events and job interviews. They also learn about fashion etiquette, including how to dress appropriately for their body type, style and occasion.

Social Media and Online Reputation

 Week 5: Social Media and Online Reputation

In the fifth week, students will learn how online reputation could be of great value for future engagements. Appropriate privacy setting, curating and managing professional image, identifying a secure website and social media ethics, etc., will be a focus.

Review and Graduation

 Week 6: Review and Graduation

The final week includes a review of previous lessons and concludes with a graduation ceremony in which each student is presented a certificate. This provides an opportunity for students to showcase their newly acquired etiquettes while they celebrate their success in the program.
